One universal Creator - all Victory belongs to Waheguru (God).
May the respected Sword of the Almighty (God in the form of Destroyer of the evil-doers) help us.
Petition to the Almighty - Ode to the respected Sword by the Tenth Guru (Gobind Singh)
First remembering the Bhaugati, the Sword (Destroyer of evil-doers) and think and meditate upon Guru Nanak. Pray and meditate upon Guru Angad, Guru Amar Das, and Guru Ram Das, may they help and support us. Pray and meditate upon Guru Arjan, Guru Hargobind and respected Guru Har Rai. Remember and meditate upon respected Guru Harkrishan whose sight dispels all pains and sorrows. Meditate upon Guru Tegh Bahadar the nine spiritual sources of wealth come hastening within, blessing you with their treasures. May they all help and support us every where. May the holy Tenth King, respected Guru Gobind Singh, the supreme spiritual Protector, grant us every assistance. Meditate upon the divine Light (message) of ten holy Kings contained and embodied within the supreme Siri Guru Granth Sahib by its sight and, contemplate its pleasures, and utter "Waheguru" Wondrous Enlightener!
The five loved ones (Panj Pyare), the four Princes of Tenth King, the forty liberated Souls, determinant devotees, austere devotees and penance devotees who recited the Name, those keeping God's Name in their hearts shared their earnings with others, of those who established free kitchens, of those who plied swords for preserving Truth, of those who overlooked other's faults (shortcomings) think of deeds of all such pure and truly devoted ones, they remain pure and true in their devotions, O Khalsa Ji and utter "Waheguru" Wondrous Enlightener!
Those lionhearted men and women who never surrendered their faith but for its sake sacrificed their heads, imprisoned prisoners whose bodies were dismembered joint by joint, whose scalps were removed from their skulls, who were bound rotated on the wheel until their bodies broke, were ripped by sharp toothed saws, and whose flesh was flayed while they yet lived, and who guarding the dignity of Gurudwaras were sacrificed without abandoning their faith, those Sikhs who kept their hair intact until their final breath, recall their unique sacrifices O Khalsa, and utter "Waheguru" Wondrous Enlightener!
The five holy Thrones and all Gurudwara worship places, turn your thoughts upon these and utter "Waheguru" Wondrous Enlightener!
First the entire respected Khalsa make this supplication to God; That may they meditate continously on His Name. Remember the Wondrous Enlightener and calling "Waheguru, Waheguru, Waheguru" and through this, he who meditates on Him in mind may be blessed with all pleasures and comforts. God may protect and bless, where ever the respected Khalsa is present. May the free kitchen and the Sword remain always victorious, the honour of Your devotees may be preserved. The Panth may be victorious for ever! May the respected Sword of God always come to our help! May the respected Khalsa always get laurels, ever be honored to call out with the voice of unison to utter "Waheguru" Wondrous Enlightener!
Kindly confer upon the Sikhs the gift of Sikh faith (Gurmat), mercifully bestow the gift of keeping hair intact, the grace to respect the Sikh laws (Code of conduct), gift of divine knowledge, gift of
faith and blessing of unflinching belief, and above all confer the supreme treasure and gift of Name, gift of bathing in the sacred waters of Amritsar, may the Choirs mansions and banners, exist throughout all the ages, and may the Truth ever triumph. Utter "Waheguru" Wondrous Enlightener!
May the consciousness of the Sikhs be humble and their wisdom be profound and elevated. God Himself is the Protector of wisdom. O immortal God. You have always helped Your own Panth, kindly grant the gift of visiting, maintaining, controlling, and worshipping the Gurudwara of Nankana Sahib and all other Gurudwaras and Guru's mansions from which the Khalsa Panth has been divested.
O True Father, Wonderful Enlightener! Your are the honour of the meeks, the strength of the helpless, shelter of the refugees. We have offered prayers as contained in.... Kindly excuse our shortcomings and pardon any errors in prayers offered. Kindly execute the works of all. Kindly help us to meet those humble true devotees by meeting whom we may recite and remember Your Name.
Through Guru Nanak may your Name forever grow and be elevated, and may your spirit be exalted and all humanity prosper by your grace.
